Madhavan Vasudevan, returned to IBM as Chief Technology Officer, IBM Asia Pacific after holding leadership roles in a variety of companies from nascent start-ups through to multinational technology companies. In his most recent role, he was the Chief Strategy Officer of Mastech InfoTrellis leading their WW go-to-market for all client facing analytics solutions, especially in the strategic areas of Analytics, Machine Learning and AI.

As CTO, IBM Asia Pacific, Madhavan is responsible for driving growth in the region, by overseeing the development and implementation of key technologies and solutions that demonstrate and showcase IBM's world class  technical expertise.

Madhavan has over 25 years of business and technology expertise in new-product and solution market development, and a deep understanding of mapping emerging technology solutions to client challenges across multiple industries and the public sector. He is a hands-on entrepreneurial technology business executive with proven expertise building enterprise markets worldwide

Madhavan has an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford, a Ph.D. from Rutgers in Bio-Chemical Engineering and a BTech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He is based in Singapore.
